A few moments passed in silence before Priya broke it. She said, "Guys, it wasn't such a big issue like she made it out to be." Ruhani quickly responded, "But first, we need to find out where she went!"

Everyone realized she was right and rushed out of the room to look for Muskan.

They searched everywhere—through the corridors, around the campus, even outside the gates—but there was no sign of her. It felt like even the birds had vanished along with her.

By 7 o’clock, all the girls gathered in Muskan’s room, hoping she would return. After all, it was her space.

Ruhani said with concern, "The warden will be here soon for attendance, and Muskan still isn't back. I don’t know what’s going on with this girl."

Suddenly, a soft noise came from the doorway. Everyone turned toward the sound with half-open, anxious eyes—and there she was. Muskan stood quietly near the door, her face calm but tired.

Priya and Shipra dropped onto the bed with visible relief.

"You just took the life out of us!" Ruhani exclaimed. "We were so scared. It felt like we were going to die of panic!"

Sanskriti walked up to Muskan and said gently, "I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. I didn’t think things would blow up like this."

"No, no, it was me. I overreacted and created a scene. I’m really sorry," Muskan replied with a small smile.

Priya hugged them both and said warmly, "If the end is well, all is well."

Everyone laughed softly, the tension finally easing. Ruhani looked like she wanted to say something more but chose to remain silent.

Soon after, one by one, they all went to sleep, grateful the night had ended on a peaceful note.
